Who is Flash Gordon?

I found my calling early in life, thanks largely to my dad (now 95) who was a photographer and a true media pioneer. I picked up the Flash Gordon nickname in high school, shooting photos for the yearbook and local newspaper.  In college I majored in Comm Media - a program my professor father had started at IUP back in the 50's.  College lead to a corporate job in Arizona, and a few years later I started my own production company. Corporate Arts grew to include dozens of wildly talented staff and was ranked in the Top 10% nationally.

Since 2001, I have concentrated on meeting and event photography and video capture.  Although my native habitat is usually a hotel ballroom, my work has taken me on Incentive Club trips from Hawaii to Portugal, behind the scenes at the Phoenix ComiCon for thousands of celebrity photo-opps, and onto the floor of the NYSE to cover an IPO.

During the pandemic, I teamed up with local trade associations and venues to provide affordable Headshots for job-seekers on a NameYourRate basis. I developed new products, including a Hybrid PhotoBooth and Hybrid Group Photos to engage both online and in-person guests, and commercial HDR interior/ exterior photos with amazing same-hour delivery. I've been drawing on my years of experience as a Meeting Producer to create effective virtual and hybrid meetings. And I continue to volunteer with Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep, donating photo sessions to families experiencing still-birth.  It's the most difficult work I do, but also the most worthwhile.

I love my job, and so appreciate the folks who make this possible.
